Dr. Mneimneh attended medical school at Saint Joseph University in Beirut. He completed his residency at the prestigious Pierre et Marie Curie Paris VI University's Centre National d’Ophtalmologie des Quinze-vingts, where he was on the teaching faculty of Longjumeau Medical School.
After his residency, Dr. Mneimneh could have gone out and performed LASIK. Instead, he chose to spend an additional year completing a full fellowship at Professor Jean Haut service where excimer laser was first introduced in France and used in clinical therapy, PRK and Lasik long before its introduction in USA.
Dr. Mneimneh is a well-known and respected educator in his field, and has taught many ophthalmologists how to perform LASIK. He holds appointments at some of the most prominent teaching hospitals in Beirut, including:
